featuring
Zivanai Masango
You know Zivanai Masango from his frequent appearances with the Cultural Caravan as frontman of the popular Afrofusion band, ZiMBiRA. For the first time, the Caravan reunites Zivanai with musicians from his homeland of Zimbabwe to sing the vibrant stories of love, pain, and the struggle for freedom. These are stories that only Zivanai and his countrymen can tell, but they become universal through the language of music.

This week features community pop-up performances throughout Boulder County and a MainStage concert at Mountain View United Methodist Church. Find MainStage details below, and stay tuned for pop-up concert announcements!

Zivanai's residency is made possible through the generous underwriting by UltraViolet Idea and a grant from Creative West and the National Endowment for the Arts.
