Cultural Caravan founder and artistic director Josh Halpern brings his new trio to Boulder for their North American debut.
Together with violinist Nathan Meltzer (top prizewinner at the 2022 Sibelius Competition in Helsinki) and pianist Yannick Rafalimanana, Josh has formed the Emil Trio, a new and dynamic ensemble defined by their love of chamber music and passion for presenting undiscovered gems of the repertoire. In this program, they tell the story of incredible composers silenced by the violence of World War I, framed by two masterpieces by Maurice Ravel, a composer who survived the war but was forever changed by it.
This week will feature a MainStage concert in the Canyon Theater as well as Social Music Series pop-up performances throughout Boulder County. Find more details below!
