We're kicking off the Cultural Caravan's June Festival with food, drink, Latin music, and dancing!
Join us on Thursday, June 4 outside the Read Queen Bookstore & Café for a vibrant evening of community fun. A musical ensemble featuring Cultural Caravan favorites—Afro-Cuban drummer Alejandro Castaño, Mexican conga player Leo Corona, Venezuelan singer Alfred Gomez, trumpeter Jonathan Powell, and Venezuelan bassist Gonzalo Teppa—will keep the energy high while you dance with your friends, enjoy savory treats from Tip Top Pies and sweet ones from Eats & Sweets, get creative with the Craft Place, and duck inside the Read Queen to browse their shelves.
Come hungry, come ready to dance, and help us kick off our Fifth Annual June Festival in style.
