Hao Yang & Friends at the Erie Community Center

Join us for an evening of vibrant music and community as the Cultural Caravan presents renowned classical guitarist Hao Yang at the Erie Community Center. Joined by an all-star cast of musicians including violinists Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu and Rubén Rengel, violist Ramón Carrero-Martínez, and cellist Josh Halpern, Hao leads a celebration of the guitar's ability to connect musical traditions across cultures—from Joaquín Turina's intimate Spanish pieces to Leo Brouwer's joyful Cuban quintet to Aaron Jay Kernis's unexpected take on popular dance music.

This event is part of our ongoing partnership with the Town of Erie Parks & Recreation Department and will feature complimentary refreshments, generously provided by Erie Parks & Recreation and Erie Rotary. Come enjoy an evening of great music, good company, and a welcoming atmosphere!
