Zimbabwean Marimba Workshop at the Erie Community Center

Whether you’re a total beginner or a lifelong fan of African music, this is your chance to experience the joy of the Zimbabwean marimba firsthand. Led by Zivanai Masango — percussionist, singer, and Cultural Caravan audience favorite — this interactive workshop invites participants of all ages and backgrounds to explore Southern African rhythm, movement, and musical connection in a welcoming, high-energy setting.

No experience is necessary, and all instruments are provided. Come ready to learn, play, and have a great time — this is music that brings people together, whether you’re eight or eighty.
