Cultural Caravan founder and artistic director Josh Halpern brings his new band, the Emil Trio, to perform a program showcasing composers whose voices were lost to World War I, framed by two masterpieces by Maurice Ravel––his piano trio and Tombeau de Couperin.

About the event

Josh Halpern brings his trio to Boulder for a program telling a story of the lives lost to the violence of war. Framed by works by Maurice Ravel, this concert will showcase compositions by composers such as William Baines, Albéric Magnard, and Georges Antoine––whose unique musical voices were silenced by World War I.
