Whether playing one of his many original compositions or a classic by Jobim, the sound of Gabriel Santiago's seven-string guitar expresses the convergence of his deep Brazilian roots, the inventive play of jazz, and the sophistication of his compositional background—brought to life by the cast of musicians and friends joining him, from longtime heroes to musicians he's personally mentored. Gabriel occupies the center of this network, simultaneously student and master.
